Pilot Issue 0
Engelbaum Branch 0 was created way back in the summer of 2008 as a full color printed pilot promo. Back then the story was quite different and very (… and very cringe). It was our first attempt at making a proper comic to show to the fans. Branch 0 made a few fun appearances at local comic conventions. Building a growing legion of fans worldwide. This early version of Engelbaum existed in 3 versions. 2 physical reprints and one recolored web version by US artist Nova LeBeouf. The version on display here is the recolored web version. Since this issue is pretty much ancient history now we feel it's better referred to as a 'promo'. Consider it our baby steps for the real thing.
The current mainline comic is not connected – but for those who like a bit of nostalgia please enjoy reading Branch 0!
